Remote Insurance Sales Agent (Commission-Based)
Part-Time / Full-Time
Remote (Work from Home)
Salary/Compensation: Target-based, 5% commission on each insurance policy successfully closed (payable after the first installment/premium clearance).
Job Responsibilities
Identify and generate new insurance prospects and leads through digital channels and personal professional networks.
Explain insurance policies, coverage details, terms, and benefits to potential clients remotely via phone, email, or video calls.
Guide clients through the application and initial premium submission process.
Maintain ongoing relationships with clients to ensure renewal retention and subsequent installment processing.
Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Requirement Analysis & Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (Business Studies, Marketing, or Finance preferred).
Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years of proven working experience in an insurance company, bank, or financial sales sector. Freshers with exceptional communication and strong personal networks may also be considered.
Special Skills: Excellent negotiation, tele-sales, and customer-handling capabilities.
Priority Criteria: Proven prior experience working in the insurance industry and an active professional network will be given highest preference.
Additional Requirements
Must have a stable internet connection, a smartphone/laptop, and a quiet space for making client calls.
Highly self-driven, dedicated, and resilient to work independently under target pressures.
