About IGET BD

IGET BD is a newly established education centre in Rajshahi, Bangladesh, offering UK Level 3 to Level 7 qualifications from recognised awarding bodies such as OTHM and Pearson Edexcel, alongside a distance-learning Law programme delivered with a UK partner. Our core mission is to give a genuine second chance to students who were unable to progress to higher education after O Levels or A Levels — those who could not complete their education, or did not achieve the marks needed to progress to university — by providing an internationally recognised, flexible pathway back into higher education and employment.

The centre is being built from the ground up by a team of expert directors with decades of combined experience and deep expertise in delivering higher education in the UK, who meet weekly to set strategy and direction. We are now hiring the first full-time, experienced professional to run the centre day-to-day and turn that strategy into results on the ground.

Role Overview

The Operations & Admissions Manager will effectively run the show at IGET BD from the very beginning: owning student recruitment and academic sales, day-to-day centre administration, and compliance with awarding-body requirements. This is a hands-on, highly autonomous leadership role for someone who can build systems and a team from scratch, while reporting into and executing the strategic decisions of the founder Board.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Sales & Admissions

• Own the full student recruitment and admissions funnel for all UK Level 3–7 programmes and the distance Law programme — from enquiry handling and counselling through to enrolment.
• Design and execute local sales and marketing activity (school and college outreach, education consultants/agents, digital channels, walk-ins, community events) targeted at students who did not complete or did not pass O Levels/A Levels.
• Build and manage a referral network with schools, coaching centres, and education consultants across Rajshahi and surrounding areas.
• Set and deliver enrolment and revenue targets agreed with the Board; track and report performance regularly.

Centre Operations & Administration

• Run all day-to-day operations of the centre: student records, fee collection, timetabling, and facilities management.
• Recruit, coordinate, and supervise administrative and academic support staff as the centre grows.
• Manage registration, assessment scheduling, and results processing in line with awarding-body requirements (OTHM, Pearson Edexcel, and the Law programme provider).
• Maintain accurate, audit-ready student and centre records.

Compliance & Quality Assurance

• Act as the centre's main point of contact with awarding bodies for approval, accreditation, audits, and policy updates.
• Ensure the centre consistently meets awarding-body policies on assessment, malpractice, and student welfare.
• Coordinate with tutors and academic staff to safeguard the quality and integrity of delivery.

Team Leadership

• Build the centre's team from the ground up: hire, train, and manage admissions counsellors, administrative staff, and academic coordinators.
• Set clear performance standards and manage staff performance and development.

Strategic Execution & Reporting

• Serve as the operational link between the Board of four founder directors and day-to-day activity at the centre.
• Translate Board-level strategic decisions into concrete operational plans and actions.
• Prepare and present regular reports to the Board on enrolment, revenue, budget, and key operational issues.
• Attend weekly strategy meetings with the founder directors.
