Officer/Senior Officer (Welfare)

Ensure a safe, healthy, and positive work environment for all employees.·      

To counsel the absentee workers and identify the root cause.   

Organize health camps, awareness programs, and training sessions on worker rights, safety, and hygiene.

Monitor workers` facilities (canteen, restroom, drinking water, childcare, medical services) to ensure compliance with labor laws.

Promote employee well-being by addressing concerns related to wages, safety, and working conditions.

serve as a bridge between workers and management to resolve grievances.

Conduct regular meetings with WPC and Safety committee to understand and address their concerns.

Maintain grievance registers and ensure timely resolution of worker complaints.

Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law 2006, Labor Rules (2015), EPZ Labor Law (2019), EPZ Rules 2022, ILO standards, and buyer requirements.      

Maintain records of employee grievances, welfare activities, and compliance reports.

Assist in onboarding and orientation programs for new employees.

Provide counseling to workers on personal and professional issues.

Conduct training on workplace ethics, gender equality, and anti-harassment policies.
