Officer - Warehouse

Ventura Leatherware Mfy. (BD) Ltd., a 100% Export Oriented Enterprise located in Uttara EPZ, Nilphamari, is seeking a competent and detail-oriented professional for the position of Officer – Warehouse. The Officer – Warehouse will be responsible for managing material receiving, storage, issuance, inventory accuracy, and warehouse operations while ensuring timely material availability for production. The role requires strong coordination, inventory management, ERP/WMS knowledge, and a commitment to safety, 6S, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and verify Leather and Body materials against approved documents, ensuring accuracy of material code, description, quantity, and physical condition.

• Coordinate with IQC for material inspection and follow up on rejected, held, short, excess, or damaged materials.

• Ensure proper location-wise storage, identification, labeling/barcoding, FIFO/FEFO, and safe stacking of materials.

• Issue materials accurately against approved requisitions or system requirements and verify material, quantity, lot/batch, and destination.

• Coordinate with Production, PMC, IMC, Procurement, IQC, and relevant teams to ensure timely material availability.

• Maintain accurate physical and system inventory through cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and investigation of inventory variances.

• Monitor slow-moving, excess, aging, critical, and obsolete materials and ensure timely follow-up and reporting.

• Maintain accurate and timely ERP/WMS transactions and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly warehouse and inventory reports.

• Ensure 6S, safety, visual management, proper stacking, and audit readiness within the raw material warehouse.

• Identify process gaps and participate in Kaizen, digitalization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
