Master`s or Bachelor`s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline from a recognized university.
CA (CC), CMA (Partial), or equivalent professional qualifications will be considered an added advantage.
Minimum 3–6 years of relevant experience in the Finance & Accounts Department.
Preference will be given to candidates having experience in a Life Insurance Company.
Practical experience in Tax, VAT, Bank Account Management, and Bank Signatory Administration is mandatory.
Maximum 40 years (may be relaxed for highly qualified and experienced candidates).
Sound knowledge of Income Tax Ordinance/Act, VAT & Supplementary Duty Act, and related regulations.
Strong understanding of accounting standards and financial reporting.
Experience in dealing with commercial banks and regulatory authorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and accounting software/ERP systems.
Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines with high accuracy and integrity

Job Responsibilities:
Maintain books of accounts and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
Prepare vouchers, journal entries, ledgers, and bank reconciliation statements.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Ensure compliance with the Insurance Act, Companies Act, Bangladesh Financial Reporting Standards (BFRS), and other applicable regulatory requirements.
Prepare, submit, and maintain all Tax and VAT related documents, returns, certificates, and correspondence in compliance with NBR regulations.
Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, VAT consultants, and regulatory authorities.
Manage opening, closing, and modification of bank accounts with scheduled banks.
Process and coordinate bank signatory activation, deactivation, amendment, and update as per board resolutions and bank requirements.
Prepare and maintain all documentation related to bank mandates, KYC updates, and authorized signatories.
Monitor banking transactions and maintain strong relationships with banks.
Assist in budget preparation, financial planning, and cash flow management.
Ensure timely statutory payments and compliance with all financial obligations.
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Perform any other assignments entrusted by management from time to time.
