Teaching & Academic Duties
- Arabic Alphabet & Articulation (Makharij): Instructing students on identifying Arabic letters in their individual and joint forms, ensuring accurate letter origins from the mouth/throat.
- oundational Tajweed: Teaching basic rules of recitation, including vowel marks (Harakat), elongation (Madd), and silent letters (Sukoon/Tanween).
- Fluency & Spell-Reading (Hajja): Training students to spell out words letter-by-letter to build independent reading speed and accuracy.
- Basic Islamic Studies & Prayers: Teaching essential daily supplications (Duas), short Surahs from Juz Amma, basic Islamic etiquette (Adab), and how to perform ablution (Wudu) and daily prayers (Salah).
Classroom & Student Management
- Individual Hearing & Correction: Listening to each student's daily recitation (Sabak) individually to catch and fix pronunciation errors.Managing Learning Levels: Tracking student progress across three key phases: new daily lesson (Sabak), previous day's lesson (Sabki), and overall revision (Manzil).Classroom Discipline: Maintaining a peaceful, respectful environment suitable for sacred learning.
Administrative & Parent Relations
- Parent Communication: Updating parents on their child’s reading milestone progress and attendance.
Assessments:
- Evaluating students periodically to determine whether they are ready to transition from the Qaida to reading the Ampara (Juz 30) or the full Quran.
