Requirements

Education

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering

Experience

2 to 5 years
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): IT Enabled Service, Computer Hardware/Network Companies

Additional Requirements

Age 25 to 36 years

2–5 years of hands-on experience as a Network Engineer.
Experience with Cisco routers, Cisco Layer 2/Layer 3 switches, and Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFWs), preferably Sophos.
Solid understanding and practical experience with configuring and troubleshooting Routing (BGP, OSPF), VLANs, Inter-VLAN Routing, ACLs, port forwarding, port mapping,
NAT, DHCP, DNS, VPN (Site-to-Site & Remote Access), and High Availability (HA), Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching, including STP, EtherChannel/LACP, and Link Redundancy, NMS
Basic understanding of network security concepts, including firewall policies, IPS/IDS, SSL VPN, and security best practices.
Experience in troubleshooting, performance analysis, and root cause analysis
CCNA certification is preferred.
Additional certifications such as CCNP, Sophos Certified Engineer, or equivalent will be considered an advantage.
Good communication skills, analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently as well as within a team.

Responsibilities & Context

Install, configure and maintain computers, networks and printers
Provide first-line IT support to staff and resolve tickets
Manage user accounts, email and access permissions
Monitor network security, backups and system updates
Keep an inventory of IT assets and licences
