Educational Requirements Bachelor’s degree / B.Sc. in Textile Engineering, Apparel Sourcing, Fashion Merchandising, or a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a reputed university
Experience & Skill Requirements Experience: 3-5 years of direct experience in fabric merchandising or apparel order follow-up (Candidates with background in fabric supply units are preferred)
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of fabric types (Woven/Knit), yarn counts, compositions, GSM, dyeing processes, and standard fabric testing parameters
Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and handling professional email communications (ERP system knowledge is an advantage)
Language: Good verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bangla
Salary: Negotiable (Based on experience and competence).

We are currently looking for a dynamic, proactive, and detail-oriented Merchandiser to independently monitor, execute, and follow up on our ongoing running orders. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between production units, suppliers, and client requirements to ensure timely delivery and maintain strict quality standards.

Order Follow-up: End-to-end follow-up of running fabric orders from booking to final bulk delivery.
Production Monitoring: Track daily production schedules, knitting/weaving, dyeing, and finishing status with partner mills and factories.
Lab Dip & Submissions: Manage timely coordination of lab dips, strike-offs, fabric hand-looms, and bulk shade-band approvals.
Internal Coordination: Collaborate closely with the internal procurement, commercial, quality assurance (QA), and logistics teams to maintain the Time & Action (T&A) calendar.
Supplier Management: Follow up closely with texturizers, yarn suppliers, and processing factories to mitigate potential production or shipment delays.
Problem Solving: Proactively address and resolve any fabric-related defects, color mismatches, or weight (GSM) issues during the running production phase.
Reporting: Maintain and update comprehensive daily/weekly order tracking status sheets and report directly to management.
