Summary

Responsibilities & Context

AKH Knitting & Dyeing Ltd is a 100% export-oriented company and it’s a sister concern of AKH group.

We are looking for 03 (three) Merchandisers who act as the key liaison between buyers and the factory, ensuring smooth execution of orders from development stage to final shipment and involves order management, costing, product development, production follow-up, material coordination, and communication with internal and external stakeholders to achieve customer satisfaction and business targets.

Key Responsibilities

Communicate with buyers regarding inquiries, developments, orders, and shipment status.
Handle daily correspondence through email, meetings, and virtual communication.
Maintain strong relationships with existing buyers and support new business development.
Ensure timely responses to buyer requirements and concerns.
Coordinate sample development activities including proto, fit, PP, size set, and shipment samples.
Work closely with design, technical, and sample teams to meet buyer specifications.
Follow up on approvals, comments, and revisions.
Prepare garment costing based on fabric consumption, trims, washing, printing, embroidery, and CM.
Coordinate with sourcing, planning, and production teams for accurate costing.
Negotiate prices with buyers while ensuring target profitability.
Review purchase orders and verify order details.
Prepare order sheets, T&A (Time & Action) plans, and production schedules.
Ensure all order requirements are properly communicated to relevant departments.
Coordinate with procurement and suppliers for fabrics, yarns, dyes, trims, accessories, and packaging materials.
Monitor material availability to avoid production delays.
Follow up on lead times and supplier performance.
Monitor production status from knitting, dyeing, finishing, cutting, sewing, washing, packing, and shipment.
Coordinate with planning, production, quality, and commercial departments.
Identify production risks and take corrective actions.
Ensure buyer quality requirements are understood and implemented.
Coordinate with QA teams regarding inspections and audits.
Monitor compliance with factory and buyer standards.
Coordinate shipment schedules with commercial and logistics teams.
Ensure all shipment documents are prepared accurately.
Follow up to achieve on-time delivery (OTD).
Maintain accurate merchandising records and order files.
Prepare weekly order status reports.
Track order progress against T&A calendars.
Update management regarding order status, risks, and solutions.
