Merchandise Manager

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Manager–Merchandising to manage and lead merchandising operations for our bag & luggage manufacturing business.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in product development, costing, material planning, order execution, customer handling, and production follow-up, with particular expertise in fabric & material consumption.

Candidates with relevant merchandising experience in bags and luggage, Jackets, Cargo Pants, or similar sewn products are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete merchandising process from product development to shipment.
• Develop and review product costing, BOM, material requirements, and consumption.
• Coordinate with customers, product development, production, quality, purchase, and planning teams.
• Ensure accurate calculation of fabric and material consumption for costing and production.
• Monitor and control material wastage to ensure product profitability.
• Handle fabric, lining, webbing, zipper, foam, PVC/PU-coated fabric, hardware, accessories, and packing material requirements.
• Follow up on sample development, approvals, material booking, production, inspection, and shipment.
• Review and verify BOM and consumption before finalizing costing and orders.
• Coordinate with the purchase and production teams to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Monitor order status and ensure timely shipment as per customer requirements.
• Identify and resolve merchandising, costing, material, and production-related issues.
• Prepare regular order status and management reports.
• Lead and develop the merchandising team for efficient order execution.
