Bachelor`s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Manufacturing, Garments Technology, or a relevant discipline from a reputed university.
Professional certification in Quality Management will be an added advantage.
Key Performance Areas
Lead the overall Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions across production.
Establish, implement, and continuously improve quality standards, procedures, and control systems.
Ensure products meet customer specifications, quality standards, and shipment requirements.
Drive quality performance from cutting, sewing, finishing through final inspection and shipment.
Monitor and reduce DHU, defect rate, rejection, rework, alteration, customer complaints, and inspection failures.
Analyze quality data and identify root causes using 5 Why, Fishbone, Pareto, CAPA, and other quality improvement tools.
Lead corrective and preventive actions and ensure timely closure of quality issues.
Work closely with Production, IE, Technical, Merchandising, PPC, Compliance, and Customer teams to achieve quality and delivery targets.
Manage and develop Quality Managers, Executives, Officers, Inspectors, and other quality personnel.
Ensure effective implementation of AQL, inline, end-line, finishing, and final inspection systems.
Coordinate customer, third-party, and internal quality audits/inspections.
Ensure compliance with customer-specific quality requirements and company quality standards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance Right First Time (RFT) and overall quality performance.
Conduct regular quality review meetings and provide management with performance analysis and improvement plans.
Develop training and competency-building programs for Quality personnel and production teams.
Maintain Basic Discipline & 6S overall in quality area & Responsible in Promoting quality culture.
Ensure proper documentation, reporting, traceability, and implementation of quality procedures.
