Position Overview
The Manager / Senior Manager – Corporate Strategy & Business Development will work closely with the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) to drive Arogga's strategic growth initiatives, corporate partnerships, and business expansion efforts. This role requires a strong understanding of Bangladesh's pharmaceutical and healthcare ecosystem, coupled with excellent analytical, commercial, and strategic thinking capabilities.
The incumbent will identify and evaluate high-impact business opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, assess commercial viability, and translate insights into actionable initiatives that accelerate Arogga's growth across pharmaceutical, diagnostics, telemedicine, and institutional healthcare channels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Partnership Development
- Identify, evaluate, and execute strategic partnerships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, diagnostic laboratories, hospitals, insurance providers, and other healthcare stakeholders.
- Develop partnerships with corporates, Banks, insurance companies and other institutions targeting their employees and customers.
- Develop partnership strategies that support Arogga's long-term business growth and expansion objectives.
- Structure high-value collaborations that strengthen Arogga's position within Bangladesh's healthcare ecosystem.
2. Relationship Management
- Build, develop, and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders across the healthcare industry and other industries.
- Act as a strategic liaison with external partners to ensure strong collaboration and sustainable business relationships.
3. Business Analysis & Strategic Planning
- Research and analyse products, packages and subscriptions to drive revenue growth
- Conduct comprehensive financial and strategic analyses of new business opportunities.
- Perform market sizing, ROI analysis, pricing evaluations, commercial assessments, and go-to-market planning.
- Translate market insights and analytical findings into practical business recommendations.
4. Strategic Decision Support
- Work closely with the Head of Growth to evaluate complex business challenges and identify strategic opportunities.
- Develop data-driven recommendations that support executive decision-making and long-term business planning.
- Apply critical thinking and structured problem-solving to business initiatives and growth opportunities.
5. Deal Structuring & Commercial Negotiation
- Prepare business proposals, partnership proposals, Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs), and commercial agreements.
- Lead and support commercial negotiations with prospective partners while ensuring alignment with Arogga's strategic objectives.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Finance, Technology, and Product teams to ensure successful execution of strategic partnerships and initiatives.
- Coordinate across departments to deliver measurable commercial and operational outcomes.
7. Market Intelligence & Industry Analysis
- Continuously monitor healthcare industry trends, market developments, regulatory updates, and competitor activities.
- Provide strategic insights that inform business planning, partnership opportunities, and corporate growth initiatives.
8. Corporate Representation
- Represent Arogga at industry forums, conferences, stakeholder meetings, and regulatory discussions.
- Strengthen Arogga's presence and credibility within Bangladesh's healthcare and business ecosystem.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related discipline. Healthcare industry will have be an advantage
- MBA or a related Master's degree is an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate business development.
- Experience within the healthcare industry is considered an advantage.
- Demonstrated experience in onboarding corporate clients and establishing strategic business partnerships.
- Existing relationships with leading corporate organisations in Bangladesh are highly desirable.

Compensation
- BDT 80,000 – 100,000 per month (based on experience and expertise; may be higher for exceptional candidates)
