Manager - Quality Control & Assurance

This position is strictly for professionals with direct, hands-on experience in Bag Manufacturing (Backpacks, Luggage, Handbags, Tote Bags, Tactical Bags, etc.). Applicants whose experience is limited only to traditional garments (Knit/Woven/Shirts/Trousers) will not be shortlisted.

We are a 100% export-oriented bag manufacturing company based in Dhaka, supplying to international buyers. We are looking for an experienced Quality Control & Assurance professional to join our production team.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Quality Management: Oversee all QA/QC processes from raw material inspection (fabric, zippers, buckles, webbing) to cutting, sewing, and final packaging.
• Conduct in-line, pre-final, and final inspection of bags as per buyer specifications and approved samples
• Check fabric, trims, accessories, stitching, printing/embroidery, and finishing quality
• AQL Compliance: Implement and maintain strict Acceptable Quality Limit (AQL) standards as required by global international buyers.
• Defect Prevention: Identify and resolve structural bag-stitching issues, reinforcement weaknesses, alignment errors, and material defects on the production floor.
• Audit Leadership: Lead internal pre-final inspections and successfully coordinate factory evaluations with third-party buyer auditors.
• Liaise with buyer QC/merchandisers/third-party inspection agencies during audits and final inspections
• Process Documentation: Maintain detailed inspection logs, defect matrix reports, and corrective action plans (CAP).
• Maintain quality records for traceability and compliance (e.g., social/technical audits)
