Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Industrial Engineering, Industrial & Production Engineering (IPE), or a closely related discipline.
Industry Experience: 8 to 10 years of proven hands-on experience in an Industrial Engineering role within the Garments or Textile manufacturing sector.

Temakaw Fashion Limited is seeking an experienced, analytical, and result-oriented Manager Industrial Engineering to lead the IE department at our office in Shewrapara, Dhaka.

The successful candidate will spearhead process optimization, ergonomic workstation design, line balancing, and capacity planning while driving continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen methodologies.

This position plays a critical role in enhancing plant productivity, eliminating operational waste, reducing manufacturing costs, and mentoring the IE engineering team.

Production Analysis & Time Studies: Conduct rigorous time and motion studies to analyze existing garment manufacturing workflows. Identify production bottlenecks, non-value-added activities, and operational inefficiencies across sewing lines.
Ergonomic Workstation & Layout Design: Design, optimize, and implement efficient workstation layouts to minimize unnecessary operator movements, improve material handling, and ensure ergonomic safety and comfort.
Production Planning & Scheduling Alignment: Partner with central production planning teams to formulate optimal line loading strategies, machine scheduling, and manpower balancing to achieve maximum capacity utilization and daily output targets.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Develop, document, and standardize clear SOPs for sewing and garment processing operations. Train production supervisors, line technicians, and operators on SOP compliance to maintain operational consistency.
Resource Allocation & Cost Management: Optimize resource allocation across labor, equipment, machinery, and materials to minimize overall manufacturing costs while managing departmental operational expenditures within budget.
Kaizen & Lean Manufacturing Leadership: Implement Lean tools (5S, SMED, Kanban, Value Stream Mapping) and Kaizen principles across production lines to foster a continuous improvement culture, reduce lead times, and eliminate waste.
Quality Control Integration: Collaborate closely with the Quality Assurance Manager to establish effective inline quality checkpoints, ensuring production methods strictly comply with buyer specifications and quality parameters.
Team Leadership & Talent Development: Lead, supervise, and mentor the Industrial Engineering team (including IE officers, line engineers, and process improvement specialists), providing strategic direction, clear goals, and technical guidance.
