Experience

At least 10 years of professional experience.
Experience in Software Company and/or IT Enabled Service business areas.

Additional Requirements

10+ years of experience in a senior cyber security role.
Proven experience in managing a Security Operations Center (SOC).
Proven experience in vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and incident response.
Strong understanding of network security concepts, firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and SIEM solutions.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to independently manage a talented team with minimum guidance from top management.
Industry-recognized security certifications will be preferred, such as OSCP, CISSP, CISA, CEH, etc.

The Manager - Engineer will provide technical and operational leadership across cyber security engineering and SOC functions, ensuring effective security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, security architecture, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Lead a highly motivated team of SOC analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
Develop and implement SOC policies, procedures, and best practices.
Lead the team in analyzing security alerts and incidents, prioritizing and escalating threats as needed.
Oversee the investigation and remediation of security incidents, adhering to established protocols.
Manage and maintain SOC technology infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
Continuously improve SOC processes and procedures, optimizing efficiency and effectiveness.
Conduct comprehensive vulnerability assessments and penetration testing engagements.
Design, implement, and manage advanced security controls and architectures.
Lead analysis of security incidents and implement effective incident response strategies.
Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber security threats and trends.
Provide technical guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders.
Develop and maintain documentation for security policies and procedures.
