Key Responsibilities :
Prepare annual and quarterly budgets for knitting, dyeing, finishing, and garments units
Coordinate with production, merchandising, and procurement teams for accurate projections
Monitor budget utilization and implement cost control measures
Calculate cost per piece including yarn, knitting, dyeing, finishing, cutting, sewing, and packing
Analyze consumption (yarn, dyes, chemicals, trims, accessories)
Prepare CM (Cost of Making) and FOB cost sheets for buyers
Monitor yarn price fluctuations and impact on costing
Calculate knitting cost per kg and fabric cost per meter/kg
Ensure efficient yarn utilization and minimize wastage
Calculate dyeing cost based on shade, GSM, and fabric type
Control chemical and utility consumption (water, steam, electricity)
Analyze batch-wise costing and efficiency
Track cost per process (knitting, dyeing, finishing, sewing)
Conduct variance analysis between actual vs. standard consumption
Identify areas for cost reduction and process improvement
Prepare pre-costing and post-costing for each order
Evaluate order profitability and margin analysis
Support merchandising team in price negotiation with buyers
Monitor stock of yarn, chemicals, dyes, and accessories
Analyze wastage in knitting, dyeing, and cutting
Implement measures to reduce process loss
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly cost reports
Develop MIS reports for management decision-making
