Manager - Accounts And Finance

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and proactive Manager - Accounts to lead and oversee the Accounts & Finance function of DOT5 Private Limited. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining regulatory compliance, supervising accounting activities, and supporting management in financial planning, decision-making and all accounts related work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting and financial operations, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of all transactions.
• Supervise and review the recording of financial transactions, vouchers, bills, and invoices using accounting software, Mandatorily Tally.
• Ensure proper maintenance of general ledgers, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other financial records.
• Monitor and review bank, cash, debtor, creditor, and other ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Develop and monitor budgets, cash flow projections, and financial plans in coordination with management.
• Ensure proper monitoring and control of company expenses in accordance with approved budgets and financial policies.
• Oversee banking activities, including deposits, withdrawals, fund transfers, and coordination with financial institutions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable VAT, Tax, and statutory requirements under the laws and regulations of Bangladesh.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide the necessary financial records and supporting documentation.
• Establish and maintain proper documentation, filing, and internal financial control procedures.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely collection and accuracy of financial data and reports.
• Supervise the Accounts & Finance team, review their performance, and ensure the timely completion of assigned responsibilities.
• Oversee payroll processing and related financial activities, where applicable.
• Perform other finance-related duties and responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.
• Establish, monitor, and evaluate departmental KPIs to assess team performance, ensure accountability, and drive continuous improvement in financial operations.
