Label Manager

We need a Label Manager in Mumbai. Someone who knows how the music business actually works, who can sit with an artist one hour and read a royalty report the next. You will look after our label partnerships day to day and help the artists on our roster grow on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube and everywhere else their music lives.

## What you will do

- Be the main point of contact for the artists, labels and publishers we work with

- Keep releases moving: delivery, release dates, metadata, artwork, all of it

- Watch the numbers. Streaming reports, royalties, analytics, and what they actually mean for each artist

- Handle licensing deals and distribution agreements when they come up

- Sit with our marketing team and plan release campaigns that fit each artist

- Make sure rights, ISRCs and UPCs are registered properly the first time

- Help artists with playlist pitching and growing their audience

## What we are looking for

- You have done this before. Two to four years in label management, A&R or digital distribution

- You understand how DSPs, DDEX and royalties fit together

- You have used DistroKid, TuneCore, CD Baby or something similar, and you know where they fall short

- People enjoy working with you. Artists especially

- You are comfortable with metadata and rights paperwork, even on the days it gets boring

- You know your way around Chartmetric, Spotify for Artists and similar tools

- Deadlines do not scare you
