Junior Research Engineer

• B.Sc. or any higher degree in Mechanical Engineering

• Age 24 to 30 years

Experience

No prior professional experience is required.

We value candidates who can demonstrate relevant knowledge or practical experience through:

• Undergraduate thesis or research work

• Academic or personal engineering projects

• Coursework involving modelling or simulation

• Experience with engineering analysis, numerical simulation, or technical research

Candidates with relevant professional experience are also welcome to apply.

Required Skills

• Good understanding of thermodynamics and heat transfer.

• Good understanding of dynamic systems, mathematical modelling and time-domain simulation, including ODEs and state-space representations.

• Knowledge of numerical methods and engineering simulation.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong commitment, responsibility, and willingness to learn.

• Ability to work independently as well as effectively as part of a research team.

Software & Modelling Skills

Required: Python or MATLAB – for numerical analysis, data processing and simulation support.

Preferred: Simulink / Simscape or Modelica / OpenModelica – for dynamic and transient system modelling.
