Junior Accounts Officer

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain books of accounts and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.

• Prepare vouchers, journal entries, ledgers, and bank reconciliation statements.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

• Prepare, submit, and maintain all Tax and VAT related documents, returns, certificates, and correspondence in compliance with NBR regulations.

• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, VAT consultants, and regulatory authorities.

• Manage opening, closing, and modification of bank accounts with scheduled banks.

• Process and coordinate bank signatory activation, deactivation, amendment, and update as per board resolutions and bank requirements.

• Prepare and maintain all documentation related to bank mandates, KYC updates, and authorized signatories.

• Monitor banking transactions and maintain strong relationships with banks.

• Assist in budget preparation, financial planning, and cash flow management.

• Ensure timely statutory payments and compliance with all financial obligations.

• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

• Perform any other assignments entrusted by management from time to time.
