B.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering or any relevant discipline from a reputed university.

One (01) to three (03) years of experience in JIRA automation, IT systems administration, or Agile project tooling.
Hands-on experience with JIRA is required.
Experience configuring JIRA workflows, boards, custom fields, permission schemes, dashboards, and automation is required.
Experience with international clients in an Agile/Scrum environment is a strong advantage.

We are looking for a JIRA Automation Expert who will be responsible for administering, configuring, optimizing, and automating our JIRA environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with JIRA administration, workflow configuration, JQL, dashboards, and JIRA Automation, with the ability to improve project tracking and automate repetitive processes. This is a great fit for someone who wants to take hands-on ownership of a critical project management platform while continuously improving workflows, automation, and overall JIRA efficiency.

Strong hands-on knowledge of JIRA administration and configuration.
Working knowledge of JQL (JIRA Query Language) for filters, dashboards, reporting, and automation.
Strong understanding of JIRA workflows, boards, issue types, custom fields, permissions, and project configurations.
Hands-on experience with JIRA Automation and the ability to design automation rules for different use cases.
Experience with advanced JIRA automation and integration with external tools.
Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
High attention to detail, ownership mentality, and proactive problem-solving.
Must be willing to work flexible hours to coordinate with US clients.
Proven experience administering a mid-to-large JIRA instance (500+ users).
Experience with ScriptRunner (Groovy), JIRA Service Management (JSM), or marketplace apps like Tempo/Structure.
Familiarity with REST APIs for JIRA scripting, automation, or bulk operations.
Exposure to SaaS enterprise solutions or healthcare/fintech/logistics domains.
