Experience in hospital, healthcare, hotel, or large-scale facility housekeeping will be preferred.
Strong ability to lead, supervise, and motivate a large team.
Practical understanding of cleaning, hygiene, sanitation, and infection-control standards.
Capable of preparing duty rosters and staff deployment plans.
Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
Able to remain calm and take prompt decisions during complaints or emergency situations.
Honest, punctual, disciplined, responsible, and service-minded.
Basic proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and report preparation will be an added advantage.

Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day housekeeping activities of the hospital.
Supervise housekeeping personnel and ensure proper deployment according to operational requirements.
Prepare shift rosters, duty assignments, and staff schedules.
Conduct routine inspections of wards, cabins, patient rooms, washrooms, corridors, offices, and other hospital facilities.
Ensure all areas meet the required cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation, and presentation standards.
Monitor staff attendance, discipline, grooming, work quality, and professional behaviour.
Ensure proper handling, segregation, and disposal of hospital waste in coordination with relevant departments.
Work closely with Nursing, Administration, Maintenance, Security, and other departments to resolve operational issues.
Monitor housekeeping chemicals, tools, machines, uniforms, and other supplies.
Maintain stock records and raise timely requisitions to prevent shortages.
Provide regular on-the-job training and guidance to housekeeping staff.
Receive and address cleanliness-related complaints and ensure timely corrective action.
Maintain inspection records and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
Ensure housekeeping activities support a safe, hygienic, and comfortable environment for patients, visitors, and employees.
Perform other responsibilities as assigned by the Management.
