General Manager - Marketing (Woven Fabric)

Job Overview:

The General Manager – Marketing (Woven Fabric) will lead the overall marketing and business development activities of the Fabric Division. The role is responsible for bringing in new business, maintaining strong relationships with existing buyers, achieving sales and profit targets and identifying new opportunities for business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement marketing strategies to enter new markets and attract potential buyers.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop a strong pipeline of potential customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new international buyers, brands and buying houses.
• Develop strategies to increase sales volume, revenue and profitability of the woven fabric business.
• Understand market trends, customer requirements, competitor activities and pricing to support business decisions.
• Lead buyer communication, product presentations, quotations, costing, pricing, and commercial negotiations.
• Explore new fabric markets, product categories and customer segments to expand the business.
• Coordinate with production, merchandising, quality, planning, and commercial teams to meet customer requirements.
• Follow up on inquiries, sample developments, orders, deliveries and customer feedback to ensure smooth business execution.
• Visit existing and potential buyers to understand their requirements and explore new business opportunities.
• Handle customer concerns and work with relevant departments to provide timely solutions.
• Prepare sales forecasts, marketing plans and business reports for management review.
• Monitor sales performance against targets and take necessary actions to improve business results.
• Lead, guide and motivate the marketing team to achieve departmental and company objectives.
• Represent the company at buyer meetings, trade fairs, exhibitions and other relevant business events.
