Matrix Sweaters Ltd. Bangladesh is seeking a dynamic, seasoned, and technical General Manager – Finishing (Sweater) to lead overall finishing operations at the factory in Bhaluka, Mymensingh.

The selected leader will be responsible for end-to-end finishing execution, quality assurance, weekly/monthly production planning, Industrial Engineering (IE) alignment, technical compliance, and zero-defect shipment performance in alignment with international buyer standards.

Production Planning & Target Achievement: Ensure seamless sweater finishing operations in strict accordance with master production schedules. Drive weekly and monthly planning alignment to consistently achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production and quality targets.
Technical File & PP Comments Implementation: Thoroughly analyze technical packs, Pre-Production (PP) comments, and buyer specifications, ensuring proper execution and error-free implementation on the production line.
Quality Control & Zero-Defect Shipments: Maintain production and Quality Control (QC) productivity at optimum levels. Oversee final quality gates to guarantee 100% zero-defect shipments compliant with buyer instructions.
Industrial Engineering (IE) & Process Optimization: Collaborate closely with the Industrial Engineering (IE) team to streamline finishing workflows, eliminate bottlenecks, and implement line balancing techniques.
Sweater Deviation & Technical Problem-Solving: Leverage deep domain expertise in sweater manufacturing to identify, analyze, and rectify technical sweater deviations, fabric faults, wash variations, and finishing discrepancies.
Line Management & Supervisory Leadership: Ensure all line supervisors receive clear daily and weekly plans. Supervise, mentor, and track line-level operational performance.
Delivery Tracking & Timeline Adherence: Track revised and final delivery schedules, in-house dates, and sample/production approval dates for every style to prevent shipment delays.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Participate actively in weekly delivery meetings, represent the finishing department, and ensure execution aligns with agreed delivery milestones.
Manpower Management & Budgeting: Oversee manpower budgeting, workforce allocation, and recruitment needs for the finishing division to optimize labor efficiency.
Management Reporting: Prepare and present daily, weekly, and monthly operational performance reports, KPI metrics, and progress updates to top executive management.
