Food Engineer

We are looking for a competent, analytical and quality-focused Food Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring food safety, product quality, production efficiency and process excellence, while supporting the development and continuous improvement of food products and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize food processing and production operations to ensure consistent quality, efficiency and productivity.

• Develop, implement and continuously improve food processing methods, production procedures and quality standards.

• Ensure compliance with applicable food safety, hygiene, quality and regulatory requirements.

• Monitor critical production parameters, identify process deviations and recommend effective corrective and preventive actions.

• Conduct quality inspections, process evaluations and product assessments throughout production.

• Support the development, testing and improvement of new and existing food products.

• Conduct trials and process experiments to improve product quality, shelf life, yield, consistency and cost efficiency.

• Analyze production processes to identify opportunities for waste reduction, productivity improvement and cost optimization.

• Work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, R&D, Procurement, Supply Chain and other relevant departments to ensure smooth operational execution.

• Assist in establishing and maintaining SOPs, specifications, quality parameters and process documentation.

• Ensure proper implementation of sanitation, hygiene and food handling procedures across relevant operations.

• Investigate quality issues, customer complaints and production-related problems and recommend sustainable solutions.

• Maintain accurate records, reports and technical documentation related to production, quality and process performance.

• Stay updated on food technology, processing techniques, food safety practices, industry standards and emerging technologies.

• Support management in technical evaluation, process improvement and strategic initiatives related to food operations.

• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the Management from time to time.
