MBA in Accounting/ Finance/ Business Administration or relevant discipline is mandatory.

Minimum 10–12 years of progressive experience in Finance & Accounts, with significant exposure to a senior financial management role.

Strong hands-on experience in financial operations, accounting, budgeting, cost control and reporting.
Proven experience in leading and managing a Finance & Accounts team.
Strong understanding of Bangladesh accounting, tax, VAT and statutory requirements.
Excellent command of ERP / accounting software, PMS, MS Excel and financial reporting systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and commercial decision-making skills.
Ability to work closely with Management, Operations, Purchase and other HODs.
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, accuracy and professional ethics.
Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities and meet strict financial reporting deadlines.
Candidates with experience in 4-star / 5-star hotels or reputed corporate organizations will be preferred.
Provide overall leadership and direction for the Finance & Accounts function, ensuring sound financial management, operational efficiency, accurate reporting and effective internal controls.
Lead and oversee General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cash Management, Banking Operations, Revenue Accounting and Financial Reporting.
Develop and implement annual budgets, financial forecasts, cash flow plans and working capital strategies in alignment with the hotel`s business objectives.
Analyze financial performance, market trends and business information to identify profit improvement opportunities, cost efficiencies, financial risks and new business opportunities.
Monitor actual financial performance against budget, forecast and business targets, analyze key variances and ensure timely corrective actions.
Oversee cost accounting, cost control, inventory, departmental expenses, variance analysis and cost optimization to improve overall profitability.
Provide financial evaluation of major business proposals, CAPEX, projects, contracts, procurement decisions and investment initiatives, including cost-benefit and return considerations.
Ensure a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard Company assets, minimize financial risks and improve business performance.
Oversee internal audit, external audit, statutory audit, risk assessment, payroll audit and process monitoring, ensuring audit observations are properly addressed and corrective actions are implemented.
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, financial statements, MIS and management reports, with timely submission to Management.
Oversee cash flow, liquidity, working capital, receivables, collections, payables and banking relationships to ensure effective financial resource management.
Provide financial oversight of Procurement, Vendor Management, Purchase Operations, Store, Inventory and Material Management, ensuring appropriate controls, accountability and cost efficiency.
Ensure proper inventory control, stock reconciliation, valuation, asset accounting, capitalization and financial documentation in accordance with Company policies.
Monitor taxes, VAT and other applicable financial and statutory requirements in coordination with the relevant functions, ensuring timely compliance.
Advise the General Manager, Management and HODs on financial, commercial and operational matters, translating financial information into clear and practical business recommendations.
Work closely with departmental heads to strengthen budget ownership, financial accountability, cost awareness and business performance.
Communicate financial results, risks, opportunities and recommendations clearly to Management / Board and other key stakeholders.
Maintain effective relationships with auditors, banks, financial institutions, regulatory authorities, vendors and other relevant stakeholders.
Lead, motivate and develop the Finance & Accounts team, ensuring clear accountability, appropriate delegation, cross-training, performance management and professional development.
Ensure Finance team members and relevant employees understand and comply with Company policies, financial procedures, SOPs and internal control requirements.
Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, digitalization and financial efficiency while maintaining appropriate control standards.
Protect and strengthen the Company`s financial position by promoting sound business and financial decision-making, integrity, transparency and accountability.
Ensure timely resolution of financial discrepancies, control weaknesses, audit findings and operational financial issues.
Perform other financial, commercial, strategic and operational responsibilities assigned by Management / Board.
