Job Responsibilities
Achieve departmental Annual Business Plan (ABP) target with assigned category and assist in preparing analysis and actionable strategies accordingly.
Ensure the right product assortment through increasing margins and profitable pricing strategy in the assigned category.
Issue and authorize Purchase Orders (PO).
Ensure on-time delivery of products, maintain optimum stock levels through proper demand planning, replenishment (Push & Pull Driven) and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Forecast demand through stock/order analysis, availability trend analysis and demand-based product selection to ensure product availability.
Analyze vendor information and evaluate vendor performance.
Perform item-wise sales and profit analysis and enhance category visibility to meet customer needs and financial objectives.
Conduct market surveys on product availability, pricing, product range, consumer behavior and competition to identify cost-effective sourcing opportunities.
Negotiate with stakeholders to improve margins through profitable pricing strategies.
Drive promotional activities to increase sales and profits.
Forecast promotional execution to achieve financial goals.
