Responsibilities & Context

Execute local procurement activities in accordance with approved Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and company procurement policies.
Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers for materials, products, and services.
Obtain and analyze competitive quotations and prepare Comparative Statements (CS) for management approval.
Conduct price and commercial negotiations to achieve cost-effective procurement and favorable terms.
Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely follow-up with suppliers for delivery.
Coordinate with user departments, Stores, Finance, Planning, and suppliers to ensure smooth procurement operations.
Monitor supplier performance with respect to quality, delivery timelines, pricing, and responsiveness.
Maintain accurate procurement records, vendor databases, quotations, POs, and related documentation.
Support vendor development and identify alternative suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, approval procedures, and internal controls.
Support inventory optimization and handle urgent/emergency procurement requirements when necessary.
Utilize SAP systems for procurement transactions, tracking, and reporting.
