Collect purchase requisitions from different departments and process them according to organizational procedures.
Source and communicate with suppliers and collect quotations for required goods and services.
Compare quotations based on price, quality, specifications, delivery time, and other relevant factors.
Prepare purchase orders and maintain procurement-related documentation.
Follow up with suppliers regarding order confirmation, delivery schedules, and payment documentation.
Ensure that purchased items meet the required specifications and quality standards.
Maintain an updated supplier/vendor database.
Assist in negotiating prices and terms with suppliers to achieve cost-effective procurement.
Maintain proper records of purchase, quotations, invoices, delivery challans, and related documents.
Ensure procurement activities comply with organizational policies and approval procedures.
Coordinate and monitor day-to-day logistics and operational requirements of the organization.
Manage transportation, delivery, movement, and distribution of materials and equipment.
Coordinate with suppliers, service providers, drivers, and internal departments.
Maintain proper records of logistics activities, deliveries, and inventory movement.
Ensure timely delivery of goods and materials to the concerned departments.
Monitor vehicle-related logistics and transportation arrangements when required.
Handle urgent logistical requirements and resolve operational issues promptly.
