Duty Station: Head Office in Dhaka with occasional field visits if required.
Job Description/ Responsibilities:
Accounts:
Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, tax calculation and bank reconciliations.
Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, and present findings to management.
Monitor cash flow and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions.
Manage and process all invoices, purchase orders, and expenses in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Ensure the implementation of policies and procedures related to financial and administrative tasks.
Calculation of TDS and VAT and timely deposit of TAX & VAT challan to Government Treasury.
Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and other stakeholders as required.
Provide support to other departments as needed.
Prepare periodic reports/presentations on accounts status, financial forecasting, revenue, project and organizational profitability for top management.
Admin:
Manage and train administrative staff and assure their smooth operation.
Manage office operations and all logistics related issues.
Manage and maintain all sorts of office inventory and assets register.
Identifying gaps in existing admin processes and generating new ideas and implementation plans.
Keeping records, finding discrepancies on a periodic basis and taking corrective actions. Raising flag to top management whenever necessary.
Develop and implement new policies and procedures & strategies regarding procurement processes.
