English Language Teacher

English Language Teacher – Early Years to Middle Level

The selected teacher will be responsible for the following duties:

• Conduct English Language classes in accordance with the School’s curriculum, syllabus, academic guidelines, and teaching standards for students from Early Years to Middle Level.
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate, engaging, interactive, and student-centered English lessons.
• Develop students’ skills in reading, writing, speaking, listening, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and comprehension according to their age and academic level.
• Apply creative, innovative, and activity-based teaching methodologies to make English language learning enjoyable, meaningful, and effective.
• Use storytelling, phonics, reading activities, group work, presentations, role-playing, and other interactive strategies to enhance students’ language and communication skills.
• Evaluate students’ classwork, homework, assignments, projects, and assessments regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their academic progress.
• Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, question papers, mark schemes, teaching materials, and other academic resources as required.
• Prepare and maintain accurate mark sheets, grades, academic records, and student progress reports.
• Provide additional academic support and guidance to students according to their individual learning needs and abilities.
• Encourage students to develop confidence in spoken and written English and create a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
• Participate actively in Parent-Teacher Meetings and communicate students’ academic progress, strengths, and areas for improvement to parents/guardians.
• Support students’ overall academic, social, emotional, and personal development and help them develop essential communication skills, confidence, and positive values.
• Maintain effective classroom management and discipline while ensuring a safe, caring, and engaging learning environment.
• Participate actively in school events, academic activities, competitions, workshops, training sessions, and other programmers organized by the School.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues and the academic administration to ensure consistency and continuous improvement in teaching and learning.
• Perform any other academic or administrative duties assigned by the School Authority.
