• Supervise the mechanical maintenance of unloading, packing, and grinding equipment.
• Ensure all machinery operates safely and efficiently to achieve production targets.
• Plan and carry out preventive maintenance to minimise unexpected machine breakdowns.
• Attend breakdowns promptly and ensure quick restoration of equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify mechanical problems before they become major issues.
• Monitor equipment performance and vibration levels to improve machine reliability.
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults and implement effective corrective actions.
• Reduce equipment downtime through timely maintenance and continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, equipment history, and spare parts usage.
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual maintenance reports.
• Monitor and maintain the required stock of mechanical spare parts to avoid production delays.
• Supervise technicians and contractors to ensure maintenance work is completed safely and according to company standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and good housekeeping practices.
• Coordinate with the production team to schedule maintenance activities with minimum disruption to operations.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and maintenance efficiency.
