BRAC is an international development organisation founded in Bangladesh that partners with over 100 million people living with inequality and poverty globally to create sustainable opportunities to realise potential. Working at brac is not like any other job. It is a platform where you can bring about real change for people who need it the most. We are not just dreaming of a better world, we are building it. Join us to find the way.
BRAC believes that everyone we work with—including our staff, programme participants, partners, and the communities we serve—has the right to be protected from all forms of harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation, including sexual exploitation and abuse.
We uphold human dignity and inclusion for all, regardless of age, race, religion, gender, disability, ethnic origin, or socio-economic background. We are an equal opportunity employer. We especially encourage those who have shown resilience—who have faced personal struggles, bounced back, and continued to move forward—to apply.
Selected candidates will have to go through a rigorous reference and background checking process, which may include police verification.
Project Brief:
The Medhabikash Scholarship Programme, a BRAC-funded initiative, and the Cultural & Sports Olympiad, a flagship initiative of the BRAC Education Programme, work together to create equitable opportunities for young people by supporting academically talented students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds to pursue higher education and enabling adolescents to develop creativity, confidence, leadership, teamwork, discipline, physical well-being, and social responsibility through cultural, sports, and co-curricular engagement. Through these initiatives, BRAC seeks to empower young people to realize their potential and become capable, responsible, and future-ready citizens who can contribute meaningfully to the development of Bangladesh.
We’re seeking a high-impact and dynamic professional to join us as Divisional Manager, BRAC Education Programme, providing strategic leadership, operational oversight, and quality assurance for the effective implementation of the Medha Bikash Scholarship, Future Ready Club, and Cultural & Sports Olympiad across assigned divisions. In this role, you will drive timely and high-quality programme delivery, strengthen team performance, foster stakeholder engagement, ensure compliance with organisational and donor requirements, and contribute to achieving programme outcomes through evidence-based decision-making and continuous improvement. This is a contractual position for an initial period of one year.
