DGM/GM - Administration (Retired Lieutenant Colonel / Colonel)

A reputed FMCG Group is looking for an experienced and dynamic DGM / GM – Administration & Corporate Affairs to lead the Group’s overall Administration, Corporate Affairs, Factory Administration, Government Liaison, Legal Coordination, Compliance, and Security functions.

The incumbent will oversee administrative operations across the Group’s Head Office, factories, and business units, while working closely with Top Management and senior management bodies to address organizational requirements, critical issues, and strategic administrative matters.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Group’s overall Administration and Corporate Affairs functions.

• Supervise administration across all factories, corporate offices, and business units.

• Ensure effective management of factory administration, security, transport, facilities, utilities, and general services.

• Oversee legal coordination, regulatory affairs, licensing, statutory requirements, and compliance matters.

• Maintain strong liaison with government authorities, regulatory bodies, law enforcement agencies, local administration, and other external stakeholders.

• Coordinate litigation, legal notices, regulatory matters, and other legal issues in consultation with the Legal Department and external legal counsel.

• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, rules, regulations, statutory requirements, and organizational policies.

• Work closely with Top Management and Management Bodies to understand and fulfill their administrative and organizational requirements.

• Coordinate with Factory Heads and functional HODs to resolve administrative, Transport, legal, compliance, security, and operational issues.

• Develop and implement effective Administration, Corporate Affairs, Transport, Security, Compliance, and Crisis Management policies and SOPs.

• Handle sensitive and critical organizational matters with confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.

• Provide regular reports, strategic updates, and recommendations to Top Management.

• Lead, develop, and manage the Administration & Corporate Affairs team.

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.

• Additional qualifications in Law, Management, Administration, or related fields will be an advantage.

Experience & Requirements

• 7–10 years of relevant professional experience in Administration, Corporate Affairs, Factory Administration, Transport, Housekeeping, Government Liaison, Legal Coordination, Compliance, Security, or related functions.

• Experience in a reputed FMCG, manufacturing company, or large business group will be preferred.

• Retired Lieutenant Colonel / Colonel from the Bangladesh Army with relevant experience in administration, security, corporate affairs, government liaison, or organizational management will be highly preferred.

• Strong experience in dealing with government authorities, regulatory bodies, law enforcement agencies, and external stakeholders.

• Excellent leadership, negotiation, communication, crisis management, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work effectively with Top Management and senior management bodies.

• Willingness to travel regularly to factories and business locations across Bangladesh.
