The major responsibilities of the candidate will be:
- Monitor the production input on line and achieve the production target on a daily basis.
- Analyze the monthly production plan, identify loopholes, and provide necessary direction to achieve departmental goals.
- Correspond with the relevant department regarding fabric and accessories based on the order sheet.
- Get the PP samples/size sets approved by the buyers and take necessary steps in time.
- Manage urgent and critical situations while processing multiple orders simultaneously.
- Ensure daily functional activities of the department by providing proper support and any other tasks as assigned by the superior.
- Conduct daily production meetings to achieve the weekly shipment schedule.
- Evaluate staff performance, ensure floor discipline, identify training needs, and manage their career development.
- Ensure cost reduction by minimizing all kinds of production wastage like rejection, alteration, over-cutting, overproduction, and extra hour work.
- Prepare daily reports on production, maintenance, people, quality, safety, consumption, monthly stock, and production cost.
- Ensure safety, quality, and compliance activities in the workplace.
- Ensure and maintain a clean and tidy site.
- Carry out any other jobs as assigned from time to time.
- Foster a positive and responsive culture while ensuring the production schedule is met.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by the superior.
