Education

Bachelor of Science (BSc) in in Environmental Science, Chemical Technical/Engineering

Experience

At least 8 years

Additional Requirements

Age At least 30 years

Responsibilities & Context

Manage and supervise daily ETP operations for safe and efficient treatment.
Monitor BOD, COD, TSS, pH, Chromium, Sulphide and other effluent parameters.
Ensure treated effluent meets DoE/environmental standards.
Control and optimize chemical dosing, energy consumption, and operating costs.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and biological treatment problems.
Coordinate preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
Manage sludge handling, dewatering, disposal, and CETP coordination.
Maintain ETP logbooks, MIS, test reports, and compliance records.
Coordinate with Department of Environment (DoE) and regulatory authorities.
Train, supervise, and manage ETP operators and support staff.
Continuously improve ETP efficiency, reliability, compliance, and cost performance.
