Deputy Manager / Manager – Accounts, Tax & VAT

Accounts & Financial Reporting

• Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements and financial reports.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of books of accounts and general ledger.
• Monitor accounts payable and conduct vendor balance reconciliation.
• Manage fixed asset accounting, verification, and related documentation.
• Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide required information and documents.

SAP / ERP Operations

• Manage day-to-day SAP FI/CO activities and ensure accurate transaction posting.
• Generate SAP-based reports for auditors, consultants, and government authorities as required.
• Prepare and process PR/SRN as and when required.
• Provide SAP-related support to finance and other relevant stakeholders.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data within the ERP system.

Taxation

• Assist in preparing corporate income tax returns in compliance with applicable Bangladesh Income Tax laws.
• Maintain tax records, statements, challans, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate with tax consultants, auditors, and relevant tax authorities.
• Support tax assessments, audits, and regulatory inspections.
• Monitor changes in tax laws and ensure timely organizational compliance.

VAT Compliance

• Ensure compliance with the applicable VAT and Supplementary Duty laws and regulations, particularly for factory operations.
• Review VAT returns and VAT-related statements before submission.
• Maintain VAT registers, purchase and sales books, and supporting documentation.
• Reconcile VAT records with financial accounts and ERP data.
• Support VAT audits, inspections, and regulatory requirements.
