Responsibilities & Context
Oversee day-to-day factory administration, including attendance, manpower deployment, discipline, housekeeping, security, transportation, canteen, and employee facilities.
Plan, organize, and monitor daily, weekly, and monthly production activities according to sales demand and production plans.
Prepare worker Payroll on time and take initiative to disburse properly.
Coordinate with HR for worker recruitment, onboarding, training, employee relations, disciplinary matters, and manpower planning for fulfilling the Gap.
Ensure achievement of production targets in terms of volume, quality, yield, productivity, and cost.
Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, materials, utilities, and production capacity.
Coordinate with Supply Chain, Quality Assurance, Sales, and Warehouse teams to ensure uninterrupted production and timely product availability and drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve process, discipline, security operational efficiency.
Ensure proper documentation and production records through ERP/system and manual records where applicable.
Prepare and review factory operating budgets and monitor actual performance against budget and monitor production cost, conversion cost, labor productivity, material consumption, wastage, and utility costs.
Ensure compliance with approved SOPs, GMP, HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and quality standards and company policies, labor requirements, and factory rules.
Coordinate with Maintenance teams to ensure maximum availability of production machinery and equipment and monitor preventive maintenance schedules and minimize unplanned machine breakdowns.
Ensure implementation of occupational health and safety standards across the factory and conduct regular safety inspections and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Ensure factory operations comply with applicable regulatory and organizational requirements and ensure regulatory documentation updated on time.
