Fellowship of the College of Physicians and Surgeons (FCPS) in Surgery.
MRCS / FRCS or other recognized postgraduate qualification in Surgery.
Valid BMDC registration is mandatory.
Coordination, Documentation, Medical Technology
Specialize in surgery, surgical consultation, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.
Assess and manage surgical patients in OPD, IPD, and emergency services.
Conduct on surgical procedures within the scope of qualification, training, and competence.
Conduct appropriate pre-operative assessments and obtain informed consent.
Provide effective post-operative management and follow-up.
Request and interpret clinically appropriate investigations.
Maintain accurate patient records, operative notes, prescriptions, and discharge summaries.
Coordinate with Medical Officers, Nurses, Anesthetists, and other Consultants to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, patient safety, and infection-control standards.
Maintain professional ethics, confidentiality, and effective communication with patients and attendants.
Participate in clinical meetings, audits, training, and quality-improvement activities.
Contribute to the development and growth of the hospital`s surgical services.
The selected Consultant will be required to work exclusively with YORK Hospital Ltd. and will not be permitted to practice elsewhere in Dhaka City during the period of employment.
The position is full-time and salaried.
