Responsibilities & Context

We are looking for a responsible, customer-focused, and detail-oriented Cashier to join our super shop team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling customer transactions, managing payments accurately, maintaining the checkout area, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases.
Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers or POS systems.
Accept payments through cash, credit/debit cards, and other approved payment methods.
Calculate and return change accurately.
Maintain a clean, organized, and customer-friendly checkout area.
Answer customer queries and provide accurate information about products and services.
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally.
Ensure product pricing and information are accurate.
Monitor inventory levels and restock shelves when required.
Follow company policies and procedures related to cash handling, refunds, and transactions.
Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient customer service.
Follow all safety, security, and store guidelines.
Perform POS opening and closing procedures accurately.
Participate in training and development programs as required.
Maintain a positive, professional, and helpful attitude at all times.
Promote gift items and other relevant products to support sales growth.
