Responsibilities & Context
Receive and respond to patient inquiries through phone calls, email, social media, and in-person interactions with professionalism, empathy, and courtesy.
Provide accurate information regarding doctors' schedules, hospital services, departments, diagnostic tests, health packages, and appointment availability.
Manage appointment bookings, rescheduling, and patient coordination while ensuring the appointment system operates efficiently.
Operate the hospital PABX/switchboard by answering, screening, transferring calls, taking messages, and ensuring prompt communication with relevant departments.
Welcome and assist patients, visitors, and attendants by providing guidance on admissions, departmental locations, and hospital services.
Ability to train and coach customer care staff on communication, customer service, and call-handling skills.
Maintain accurate patient information and update records in the hospital information system while ensuring confidentiality.
Address patient complaints, concerns, and feedback professionally, ensuring timely resolution and a positive patient experience.
Promote the hospital's healthcare services, wellness packages, and value-added offerings to enhance patient engagement and satisfaction.
Ensure exceptional customer service standards by maintaining professional communication and delivering a positive patient experience at every point of contact.
