Business Development Manager

A new integrated healthcare and diagnostics centre in Dhaka is preparing for launch. We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join the founding management team and help take the centre from pre-opening stage to commercial readiness.

This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who can work independently, build trusted relationships and drive important workstreams to completion.

Role goal

Your immediate goal is to secure a strong panel of consulting doctors, with at least 40 suitable consultants committed for launch. You will also support the licensing and approvals workstream where relevant.

Once the centre is ready to open, your role will shift toward sustained business growth through doctor referrals, corporate partnerships and community relationships, supported by junior business development staff.

Core Responsibilities

Pre Launch

• Identify, approach and meet suitable doctors, with priority given to Badda and North Dhaka.
• Secure and document commitments from at least 30 doctors before launch, including specialty, availability and proposed chamber schedule.
• Maintain the doctor pipeline and onboarding records, collect required credentials and submit weekly progress updates.
• Support the Operations Manager with licence applications, document collection, authority follow-up and status tracking.
• Support medical equipment procurement through vendor sourcing, quotation comparison, demonstrations, negotiation support, delivery follow-up and record keeping.

Post Launch

• Maintain regular contact with participating and referring doctors, resolve day-to-day coordination issues and retain referrals.
• Build and track external doctor referrals through scheduled visits and follow-ups.
• Manage corporate prospects and accounts, including meetings, proposals, onboarding and relationship follow-up.
• Coordinate approved social media marketing with management, doctors and appointed vendors, including content schedules, service promotion and lead follow-up.
• Supervise two junior team members, assign field visits and follow-ups, review activity and provide day-to-day guidance.
• Maintain accurate doctor, referral, corporate and marketing activity records and submit monthly reports.
