Build Infrastructure Engineer (JetBrains IDEs)

They now have:</p> <ul data-pos="657"> <li data-pos="657">14 GB of source code</li> <li data-pos="680">500+ developers</li> <li data-pos="698">Hundreds of thousands of tests</li> </ul> <p data-pos="732">We strive to streamline the development of JetBrains IDEs, so we are looking for a person who would help us support and develop infrastructure for quick and easy test runs, installer builds, product releases, and related tasks.</p> <h3 id="we-will-be-happy-to-have-you-on-our-team-if-you" data-pos="965"><strong data-pos="967">We will be happy to have you on our team if you:</strong> </h3> <ul data-pos="1019"> <li data-pos="1019">Have experience with Java or Kotlin stack development. Can design and write code that is easy to read and maintain.</li> <li data-pos="1137">Are familiar with build systems such as Bazel, Gradle, or Maven.</li> <li data-pos="1204">Are experienced with DevOps tooling such as AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, Packer, or Ansible.</li> <li data-pos="1305">Are familiar with Linux fundamentals and shell scripting, and feel comfortable handling basic system administrative tasks.</li> <li data-pos="1430">Understand the algorithms behind the code you write.</li> <li data-pos="1485">Have strong teamwork skills, are open to diverse opinions, and can support your point of view with sound reasoning.</li> <li data-pos="1603">Are ready to communicate and collaborate closely with other teams.</li> <li data-pos="1672">Are willing to grow as a professional by learning and applying new approaches and technologies.</li> <li data-pos="1770">Take pride in the work you do.</li> <li data-pos="1803">Have contributed to open-source projects or have developed projects of your own.</li> </ul> <h3 id="how-we-develop-intellij-idea" data-pos="1891"><strong data-pos="1893">How we develop IntelliJ IDEA:</strong> </h3> <ul data-pos="1926"> <li data-pos="1926">The source code is stored in Git, with the public part available on <a class="ring-ui-link_f850" href="https://github.com/JetBrains/intellij-community" target="_blank" data-pos="1996">GitHub</a>.</li> <li data-pos="2055">The source code is written in Java 17 and Kotlin.
