BESS Fire Protection Engineer I

• Develop, update, and actively conduct specialized training frameworks to prepare internal teams, client representatives, and regional Fire Departments on proper emergency/first-responder protocols during thermal events.
• Technical Issue Management: Directly participate in technical issue resolution pipelines, streamlining communications to uncover root causes and quickly finalize systemic engineering adjustments.
• Industry Leadership: Keep a continuous pulse on shifting global codes, codes-committee rulings, and energy storage safety benchmarks to consistently advance the baseline safety of regional product deployments.

Minimum of an Undergraduate or Master's degree in Fire Protection Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent technical field with verified engineering experience.

Mandatory BESS Experience: Candidates MUST possess between two (2) and five (5) years of dedicated, direct professional experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) Fire Protection Engineering.

Strict Exclusion: This position is centered entirely on clean energy tech, deflagration, and thermal runaway mitigation. Candidates whose background is limited primarily or solely to traditional commercial building fire sprinkler/suppression systems design will not be entertained or considered.

• Regulatory Familiarity: Demonstrated knowledge of
