Responsibilities & Context
Ensure all bar areas and bar refrigerator are always clean and tidy ensure all bar beverages are well stock before business operation start; if not, report to the manager on duty
Ensure bar counter are clean and re-set according to pre-determined standards have full knowledge of all menus being offered in the restaurant.
Have full knowledge of restaurant seating/ table plan to be able to make menu suggestions to customers
To be able to build up a good rapport with all customers take food and beverages orders from customers
Deliver food and beverages according to sequence of order ensure all utensils, glasses, china and flatware are always clean
Ensure table are clean and re-set according to pre-determined standards always keep work stations clear, clean and tidy
Report all customer comments to the supervisor / manager immediately and hand in all loss and found items without delay
Ensure mise-en-place is always done according to service training actively participate in all training activities
Ensure full co-operation with all other service colleagues and departments
Be aware of performing salesmanship at all times to help increase revenues
Perform any other duties as required by the manager or supervisor from time to time and to be able to use Point Soft system in the restaurant
