Job summary:
This position is responsible for maintenance of all machines and equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise maintenance activities of all machines of assigned area.
- Optimum use of manpower, reduce wastage of material and machinery breakdown time.
- Implement preventive maintenance plan of machinery of assigned area.
- Prepare spare parts requisition of own shift and send the same to store department through proper channel.
- Maintain the records of Maintenance work of concerned area.
- Reports regarding necessary spare parts for maintenance.
- Coordinate departmental activities with other departments.
- Discharge ISO related activities as per QSP.
- Take steps to prepare and safe storage of all records of the department as per ISO management system and deliver the same according to demand for higher authority.
- Discuss the important issues related to improvement of systems and operations of the department and seek opinion when needed.
- Discharge such other functions as may be assigned to this post from time to time by higher authority.
