Four-year Honours with a Master’s degree / Three-year Honours with a Master’s degree: Candidates must have secured at least three First Divisions/Classes or ‘A’ Grades and have at least 10 years of teaching experience, including at least 4 years of experience as an Assistant Professor. Additionally, candidates must have at least six publications, of which at least four must have been published during their tenure as an Assistant Professor.
M.Phil: Candidates must have secured at least two First Divisions/Classes or ‘A’ Grades and have at least 8 years of teaching experience, including at least 4 years of experience as an Assistant Professor. Additionally, candidates must have at least five publications, of which at least three must have been published during their tenure as an Assistant Professor.
Ph.D.: Candidates must have secured at least two First Divisions/Classes or ‘A’ Grades, including at least one First Class or ‘A’ Grade in either the Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. They must have at least 7 years of teaching experience, including at least 3 years of experience as an Assistant Professor. Additionally, candidates must have at least five publications, of which at least three must have been published during their tenure as an Assistant Professor.
Third Division/Class or ‘C’ Grade: No Third Division/Class or ‘C’ Grade shall be acceptable.
Deliver lectures, tutorials, and seminars in assigned law courses in accordance with the approved curriculum and academic calendar.
Prepare lesson plans, course outlines, teaching materials, and assessment tools to ensure effective learning outcomes.
Evaluate studentsʼ performance through examinations, assignments, presentations, and research work with fairness and transparency.
Provide academic guidance, mentoring, and consultation to students to support their academic and professional development.
Encourage critical thinking, legal reasoning, ethical awareness, and research-oriented learning among students.
