Assistant/Product Manager (EV Bike)

ACI Motors Limited is looking for an Assistant/Product Manager to lead the development of its new business horizon in the EV Bike segment.

To successfully establish, develop, and scale this emerging product category in an increasingly competitive market, the organization requires a dedicated Assistant/Product Manager who can drive product strategy, market development, brand positioning, and business growth. The incumbent will play a key role in understanding market opportunities, coordinating with relevant stakeholders, developing go-to-market strategies, and ensuring the sustainable growth of the EV Bike business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define the product vision, roadmap, and pricing strategy for various tiers of EV bikes (e.g., commuter, high-performance, or utility-focused models).

• Market & Competitor Analysis: Conduct deep-dive market research on consumer preferences, competitor offerings, pricing trends, and technological disruptions in the EV space.

• Sourcing & Technical Evaluation: Collaborate with supply chain and technical teams to evaluate global manufacturers, source high-quality EV components/fully built units (CBUs/SKDs), and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.

• Principal Coordination: Maintain regular communication with the principal on product development, technical updates, service, and warranty support.

• Portfolio Marketing Planning: Prepare appropriate marketing plans and strategies for the assigned portfolio.

• Product Positioning & Promotion: Develop comprehensive product positioning and promotional strategies specifically tailored for EV Bikes.

• Regulatory Compliance & Approvals: Coordinate with relevant authorities (such as BRTA and BSTI) regarding product approval, standardization, and compliance policies for electric two-wheelers.

• Go-to-Market (GTM) Execution & Training: Partner with the marketing and sales teams to design impactful launch campaigns, promotional strategies, and training programs for dealer networks and service engineers.

• Field Visits & Stakeholder Engagement: Make regular field visits, identify and communicate with prospective customers, workshops, and dealers to gather ground-level feedback and drive adoption.
