Assistant Teacher

Monitor students` progress to counsel them and assist them in improving.

Should be able to create and mark assessments that accurately measure students` performance and keep accurate records.

Capable of preparing Syllabus, Session plan, Scheme of Work, & Lecture materials and evaluating class tests, quizzes and term exams.

Capable of preparing question papers & Mark schemes according to the government. Standard and actively involved in developing curriculum, giving projects and assignments to the students.

Should have experience in teaching pre-primary or primary students.

All academic responsibilities related to students’ exams, parents` dealings and other duties as the position requires.

Providing additional teaching support for slow learners.

Support the development of student portfolios in line with agreed school practices.

Maintain good professional working relationships with colleagues.
