M.Sc in Microbiology/Biotechnology/Biochemistry or other life Science related subject from any UGC approved University.
1 to 2 years working experience in related field from any well-known pharmaceuticals company is preferred.
Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
Freshers are also encouraged to apply.
Job Responsibilities
Conduct environmental monitoring of cleanrooms, manufacturing areas & controlled environments (air sampling, surface monitoring, personnel monitoring).
Carry out water system testing (purified water, water for injection) for microbiological quality.
Prepare and maintain culture media, perform media growth promotion tests & manage microbial culture collections.
Operate & maintain laboratory equipment (incubators, autoclaves, laminar air flow cabinets, colony counters, endotoxin testing systems, etc.)
Perform microbiological testing of raw materials, intermediates, bulk, and finished pharmaceutical products (sterility testing, microbial limit tests, endotoxin testing, bioburden, etc.).
Maintain inventory of media, reagents & consumables.
